Adah Sharma was born on May 11, 1992, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Her father Late S.L. Sharma is an Indian Army and her mother Sheila Sharma is a classical dancer. The actress did her schooling at Auxilium Convent High School, Mumbai. Adah learned to dance at Natraj Gopi Krishna Kathak Dance University, Mumbai.
Adah Sharma Career
Adah Sharma made her acting debut by appearing in the horror movie ‘1920’ in 2008. In this movie, she played the lead character Lisa Singh Rathod for which she was Nominated Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
In 2013, the actress appeared in the Hindi romantic comedy film ‘Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke’ in the lead role of Sanjana Mehra along with Dev Goel, Sanjay Dutt, and Chunky Pandey. One year later she acted in the Bollywood comedy cinema ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ as Karishma Solanki alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra.
In 2017, the actress released her Hindi action thriller film ‘Commando 2’ in the role of Bhavna Reddy alongside Vidyut Jammwal. Then Adah appeared in the drama film ‘Bypass Road’ as Radhika and in the action thriller film ‘Commando 3’ as Bhavna Reddy. The actress also acted in the Hindi short film ‘Soulsathi’ in 2020.
Adah made her Telugu debut with the romantic action thriller film ‘Heart Attack’ in the role of Hayathi along with Nithiin in 2013. In 2015, she released Telugu films like S/O Satyamurthy as Pallavi Kolasan, Kshanam as Swetha, and Subramanyam for Sale as Durga.
The actress made her Kannada debut with the action thriller film ‘Rana Vikrama’ in 2015 in the role of Paaru opposite to Puneeth Rajkumar and Anjali. In 2019, she made her Tamil debut with the comedy film ‘Charlie Chaplin 2’ in which she played the supporting role Saara along with Prabhu Deva and Nikki Galrani.
From 2014 to 2015, Adah worked in the television action drama show ‘Pukaar’ as Aarti aired on Life Ok. The actress released her short film ‘Moh’ on ZEE5. Adah acted in the web series The Holiday as Mehek in 2019 and Pati Patni Aur Panga as Shivani Bhatnagar in 2020, both broadcasting on MX Player.
