Asha Negi was born on August 23, 1989, in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Her father’s name is not known and her mother’s name is Beena Negi. The actress has two elder sisters. Asha studied at St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Dehradun, and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from D.A.V. College, Dehradun.
The actress learned to dance from her childhood and participated in many dance competitions. In 2009, she crowned the title of Miss Uttarakhand. Asha desired to be an actress for that she moved to Mumbai.

Asha Negi made her acting debut appearing in the Indian soap opera ‘Sapnon Se Bhare Naina’ aired on Star Plus in 2010 which she played the role of Madhura. One year later Asha appeared in Ekta Kapoor Hindi soap opera ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain’ on Sony TV in the role of Apeksha Malhotra. Then she acted in many series as a guest like Punar Vivah, Bigg Boss 6, Qubool Hai, India’s Best Dramebaaz, and so on. From 2013 to 2014, the actress played the role of Purvi Deshmukh in Ekta Kapoor’s soap opera ‘Pavitra Rishta’ for that she got popularity.
In 2013, the actress participated the dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye 6’ on Star Plus as a contestant along with Rithvik Dhanjani. Asha contested in the show ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6’ in 2014. In the following year, she participated in the celebrity sports reality show ‘Box Cricket League 1’. The actress also co-hosted the Indian singing competition ‘Indian Idol Junior’ on Sony TV.
The actress made her film debut with the Bollywood comedy crime film ‘Ludo’ in 2020 which she played the role of Asha. Asha made her debut web series ‘Baarish’ as Gauravi Karmakar and then appeared in another web series ‘Abhay 2’ on ZEE5 in the role of Sonam Khanna as a news reporter.
