Shilpa Shinde was born on August 28, 1977, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Her father died in 2013 and her mother Geeta Shinde is a homemaker. The actress also has one brother named Ashutosh Shinde and two sisters named Shubha Shinde, Archana Shinde. She graduated in Psychology from K.C College, Mumbai.
Shilpa Shinde Career
Shilpa Shinde made her acting debut appearing in the Indian soap opera Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai on Star Plus in 2001 which she portrayed the role of Amrita. One year later she appeared in the Indian historical drama serial Amrapali on DNN which she played the lead role of Amrapali. Shilpa worked in Zee TV serial Tum Bin Jaaoon Kahaan in the role of Diya Rajsingh and Aandhi as Diya.
The actress played the lead role of Sanjana Gujral in the television serial, Miss India, on DD National. She acted in a horror TV series Raat Hone Ko Hai in the role of Avantika. In 2006, Shilpa appeared in the popular crime investigation series C.I.D -The Case Of The Mysterious Shadow which she played the role of Sheetal.
Shilpa is well known for her Hindi television series Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai! on ZEE5 which she played the lead role of Angoori Bhabhi. In 2017, the actress participated Indian famous reality show Bigg Boss 11 and won the contestant. In 2020, she appeared in the Hindi comedy show Gangs of Filmistan. Shilpa also acted in the Hindi historical web series Paurashpur on ZEE5 in the role of Queen Meerawati.
In 2001, the actress made her film debut with the Telugu film Chhina and then she released another Telugu film Shivani. In the Hindi romantic comedy film Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi Shilpa Special appearance in the song “Maro Line”
