Piyali Munsi made her acting debut appearing in the Bengali movie ‘Rangeen Gudhooli’ in 2008. Then she released another Bengali film “Magno Mainak in 2009. The actress mostly worked in Hindi Tv series. She made her TV serial debut ‘Jai Jag Janani Maa Durga’ in 2012 which she played the lead role of Maa Durga.
Then Piyali acted in many mythological dramas like Siya Ke Ram in the role of Mandodari and Santoshi Maa in the role of Saraswati Mata. The mythological characters turn her career upward and become famous.
The actress works in the serial Gautama Buddha which she played the significant role of a village girl named Sujata. In 2014, she also appeared in a short film ‘Arasuri Maa Ambe’ in the role of Sati.
