Sriti Jha was born on February 26, 1986, in Darbhanga, Begusarai, Bihar, India. She has a younger brother. The actress did her schooling at Laxman Public School, Delhi, and completed her Bachelor of Arts in English from Sri Venkateswara College, New Delhi. In her early days, she joined the English dramatics society Verbum in Delhi and later she became the President.
Sriti Jha Career
In 2007, Sriti Jha made her acting debut with the Indian dramatic music comedy show Dhoom Machaao Dhoom on Disney Channel where she portrayed the character Malini Sharma. At the same time, she appeared in another television series Jiya Jale in the role of Sunaina Kotak. The actress played the lead role of Jhanv in the Indian social drama Dil Se Di Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhava? on Life OK in 2011.
In 2013, Sriti acted in the Hindi soap opera Balika Vadhu in the role of Ganga. One year later she appeared in Ekta Kapoor’s telefilm Kumkum Bhagya which she played the lead role of Pragya Arora along with Shabbir Ahluwalia, the character raised her career and become famous. Sriti worked as a narrator in the popular supernatural fantasy thriller Hindi serial Naagin 2 which was produced by Ekta Kapoor. Then she appeared in the romantic drama television series Kundali Bhagya on ZEE5 in the role of Pragya Abhishek Mehra.
