In 2015, the actress appeared in the Tamil romantic comedy film ‘Inimey Ippadithan’ in which she portrayed the lead role of Akhila along with Ashna Zaveri. Akhila acted in the dystopian war movie ‘Moondraam Ullaga Por’ in 2016. At that time, she also worked in the Kannada film ‘Kalabhairava.’
