Deepika Padukone was born on 5 January 1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and brought up in Bengaluru, India. During her childhood, Padukone was interested in playing badminton. During school days, Padukone played badminton in many national-level championships. The Actress also worked as a child model and appeared in several advertising campaigns, when she was only eight.
Padukone is the daughter of badminton player Prakash Padukone. Her mother Ujjwala Padukone is a Management assistant for travel and tourism. Padukone also has a younger sister Anisha Padukone born on February 2, 1991.
Deepika Padukone Career
Padukone studied at Sophia High School in Bangalore and completed her pre-university study at Mount Carmel college in Bangalore. Padukone was subsequently admitted to the Indira Gandhi National Open University for a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology but later quit it due to scheduling conflicts with her modeling career.
Padukone started working as a model under the guidance of fashion guru Prasad Bidapa. Padukone first appeared on the ramp. The Actress gained recognition with a television commercial for Liril Soap and modeled various brands and products for that the Actress gained a lot of fame. Then the Actress shifted to Mumbai and appeared in the music video “Naam Hai Tera” sung by Himesh Reshammiya. For that, she received many offers for film roles. In 2006, Padukone made her debut with the Kannada film “Aishwarya” in which she played the lead role. In 2007, Padukone got a chance to play the lead role in Farah Khan’s super hit Bollywood film ‘Om Shanti Om’.

Padukone spent a significant part of her career in a love affair with Ranbir Kapoor. But their relationship broke down. Padukone accused Kapoor of adultery, and Kapoor himself admitted it. Yuvraj Singh, and Siddharth Mallya also had heard rumors of her love. In 2016, she started a relationship with Ranbir Singh and married in November 2017.
