Laxmi Agarwal is a well-known acid attack survivor and television host. Now, she has been working for the right of acid attack victims. She was attacked when refused the romantic advances of Naeem Khan in 2005 at 16 years old.
In her personal life, she was in a relationship with social activist Alok Dixit but they were separated in 2015. Laxmi decided not to get married during their relationship period.
A movie named ‘Chhapaak‘ was made based on her life where Deepika Padukone played the protagonist role as Agarwal.
