Chitra Tripathi was born on May 11, 1986, in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. She belongs to a middle-class Hindu family. We have no information about her parents. Chitra has two younger brothers Amit Tripathi and Aditya Tripathi and a younger sister Shweta Tripathi, who is a news anchor.
Chitra Tripathi Career
Chitra Tripathi studied at A. D. Govt. Girls Inter College, Gorakhpur and she did her master’s in Defense Studies from Deen Dyal Upadhaya Gorakhpur University. After graduation, she started her career at a Doordarshan Center in Gorakhpur. Then Chitra change her mind and decided to pursue a career in journalism.
Chitra moved to Delhi and started work at Sahara India. After she also worked on news channels ETV, News24, and India News. In 2016, Chitra joined “ABP News and started hosting shows like ‘2019 Kaun Jeetega’ ‘Kaun Banega Mukhiyamantri’ ‘Modi Ke 4 Saal,’ and ‘Press Conference.’‘In 2019, she joined Aaj Tak as the Deputy Editor and Anchor and hosted the show ‘Desh Tak.’
