Athiya Shetty made her acting debut appearing in the Hindi romantic action thriller film ‘Hero’ in 2015 where she played the lead role of Radha Mathur for which she was nominated for the Filmfare award for Best Female Debut. In 2017, she appeared in the Hindi comedy film ‘Mubarakan’ in the role of Binkle Sandhu along with Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and Ileana D’Cruz.
In 2018, the actress special appearance in the song “Tere Naal Nachna” in Jayesh Pradhan’s comedy film ‘Nawabzaade’. One year later, Athiya played the lead character, Anita, alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the Hindi comedy-drama film ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’ and the film was also commercially successful.
